Revenue tiers
SwiftPython commercial and SiriusMarkdown use the same Commercial SDK License 1.0.
| Annual business revenue | License |
|---|---|
| Below $100,000 | Community — free commercial use |
| $100,000 to below $1 million | Indie — paid license |
| $1 million or more | Business — paid license |
All amounts are USD. Paid fees are fixed in the order. There are no royalties or charges per employee, render, document or installation.

What counts as revenue?
Use the preceding twelve months of business revenue before expenses and marketplace fees. Count the business and its controlled affiliates together. Exclude collected sales taxes, refunds and duplicate intercompany revenue.
An individual excludes unrelated employment wages and unrelated personal investment income. Investment capital and loans are not revenue. New businesses use actual revenue since formation.
For a client-owned app, use the higher revenue of the provider and the client group. The client holds the license. Selling your own app to a large customer does not change your tier.
What you can ship
Build and sell closed-source apps, internal tools and end-user services. A paid order covers the named SDK and product family across supported platforms. App source disclosure is not required by this license.
All tiers may evaluate locally without charge. Community users can ship while eligible without payment or a separate order. Redistributing the engine as an SDK, runtime or developer service requires a separate OEM agreement at any revenue level.
Growth and renewal
Community users have 90 days after reaching $100,000 to obtain a paid license for ongoing use and new distribution. Indie users reaching $1 million have 90 days to move to Business for rights beyond their already acquired versions and product family.
Paid users keep the right to use and distribute versions acquired during their term for the covered product family. Renewal buys new versions and any agreed support. Previously shipped end-user copies keep running without online activation.
Source and dependencies
Integrate SwiftPython through its XCFrameworks, public API documentation and Swift interfaces. Implementation source is private and is not needed for ordinary integration. Source access requires a separate written agreement defining the materials, permitted use and confidentiality terms.
Third-party components keep their own licenses and source obligations. Earlier independently held grants remain intact; they are not conditional on a new purchase or agreement.
